Registration desk

Registration will take place at the Lakeside Auditorium. A registration desk will be available at the following times:

                      Thursday, 23 April 15:00-18:00 hrs.

                      Friday, 24 April 08:00-13:45 hrs.

 

A hospitality desk will be available throughout the conference.

 

Letter of Invitation

The conference organizers will be pleased to send a formal letter of invitation to delegates requesting an invitation letter for visa purposes. Application should be accompanied by a letter from your institution. It is understood that such an invitation does not imply a commitment from the conference to provide any financial support.

 

Visa

Delegates with European citizenship do not normally need visas. If in doubt, please consult www.um.dk/en.

 

Certificate of attendance

Certificates of attendance will be provided.

 

Liability and Insurance

Neither the organisers of ORPHEUS 2009 nor the Conference Secretariat will assume any responsibility whatsoever for damage or injury to persons or property during the conference.

Participants are recommended to arrange for their personal travel and health insurance.

 

Climate

The weather in Denmark in April is often pleasant, but can also be cool. Bring an umbrella! For more information please visit www.dmi.dk.

 

Banks

Normal banking hours are from 10:00 to 16:00 hrs, Monday to Friday. On Thursday banking hours are extended to 18:00 hrs. There are ATMs usually located in connection with a bank branch, which accept a variety of international credit cards. The cards accepted are indicated on the dispenser.

 

Tips

Tips are always included in the prices given in taxis and restaurants.

 

Electricity

Electricity is supplied at 230 volts A/C, 50 Hz cycle.

Changes

The organizers reserve the right to adjust or change the programme as necessary.
